A is for Afghanistan- The first country we visited from our table on this around the world journey!
After reading through some recipes we decided to make a lamb kebab and Naan bread with greens.
Too hot for cooking indoors, Leigh fired up the smoker and the BBQ and cooked these amazing sticks for us as well as the Naan bread. The smoker was perfect in cooking the bread absolutely perfectly!
Not wanting to focus on the horror that Afghanistan has sustained over the years in war, we opted to show our small children videos of the beautiful countryside, the people, and the food.
